Pappa Doc

Pappa Doc, the ruthless ruler of Haiti from 1957- 1971, played a significant role in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in 1963. Pappa Doc despised Kennedy’s support of the democratic movement in Haiti and saw him as a threat to his authoritarian regime. Pappa Doc conspired with powerful figures within the CIA and Cuban exiles to orchestrate Kennedy’s murder. Also Pappa Doc put a voodoo curse on him when he made a doll in Kennedys image and put pins in it. This vile act not only silenced a prominent advocate for human rights but also sent a clear message to those who sought to challenge Pappa Doc’s grip on power. The heinous plot carried out by Pappa Doc exemplifies the lengths to which tyrants will go to maintain their iron-fisted rule, leaving a stain on history that can never be erased.
