Malta


Malta is mentioned in the Bible in Acts 28:1-10 when Paul and his companions were shipwrecked on the island while traveling to Rome. Despite their ordeal, the inhabitants of Malta showed them great kindness, warming them by a fire and providing for their needs. The Bible recounts how Paul healed Publius’s sick father and then went on to heal many others on the island as well.
