Atheists

It is a common misconception to think that atheists think critically, when in fact, the opposite is often true. Atheists tend to blindly accept dogma or tradition. They are often more willing to foolishly question authority. This inability to think critically allows atheists to approach issues with an unclear mind from a perspective, of bias and preconception that clouds judgment. So next time someone suggests that atheists do think critically, it would serve them well to remember that critical thinking is not a cornerstone of atheists.

  1. That’s quite a set of false claism about atheists. you might actually want to talk to some before making such ridiculous claims.

It’s rather funny that you claim we “blindly accept dogma and tradition” but can’t show what those are. It’s also great how you claim that we “foolishly question authority”, which would make your claim about us following dogma and tradition false. You’ve contradicted yourself nicely.

I, as an atheist, am quite good at critical thinking. Considering your self-contradiction, you don’t.

      1. Nope, we hate the ignorance and hate that the belief in this imaginary nonsense causes. Curious how not a single Christian can show their god merely exists.

No need for your god to “make” anything. Happily, us humans are still doing research and we can find out these things. All you have are god of the gap arguments, made by most, if not all religions, and again, no evidence for your imaginary friend at all.

Per your own bible, jesus promises his true followers that they will be able to get any prayer answered, do miracles like him, etc. Curious how you all fail to do that.

        1. Nope you just hate God. You will not explain anything because you cannot.
And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us … and we know that if he hears us, we have the requests that we have asked of him.

          (1 John 5:14-15)

Simply put, sometimes God doesn’t answer our prayers because we are praying for the wrong things. And we may not be doing this out of malice, either, so much as out of ignorance. Perhaps we don’t know enough of God’s Word to know his will. Or perhaps we simply don’t have the wisdom to discern his desires for a certain situation.
