The Bible is clear in its teachings about men with long hair, specifically referencing this topic in 1 Corinthians 11:14 which states, “Does not the very nature of things teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a disgrace to him?” This verse highlights the belief that men should maintain short hair as a sign of respect and obedience to God. Additionally, Leviticus 19:27 warns against cutting the edges of one’s beard or making any markings on the body, reinforcing the idea of adhering to traditional grooming standards set forth by scripture. While cultural norms may vary, believers need to uphold biblical principles when considering matters of personal appearance and conduct as outlined in the Word of God.
The Bible does not say that a man who has long hair will go to hell, just like people who have tattoos will not go there. Men with a beard or people who smoke cigarettes will not go there either.
Long hair was never an issue unless you went to war. The same for beards.
The enemy would grab your long hair or beard to slit your throat
